Navigating and Editing Your Application

This article explains how to move around your application, go back and fix information, and pick up where you left off.

Returning to an application in progress

Your progress saves automatically each time you move to the next step, as long as your internet connection is stable. You can step away and come back later.

  1. Log in at rent.findigs.com/login with the same email address you used to start the application.

  2. On your dashboard, find the application showing In Progress.

  3. Select View or Continue.

Once you've started an application, the Start Application button is disabled. Don't request a new invite. Just log in and open your application from your dashboard.

Moving between pages

Always use the in-app arrows to go back or forward. Don't use your browser's back button, which can cause errors or lost information.

  • On a computer: The back and forward arrows are at the bottom right of the page. If the chat box is open, it may be covering them. Minimize the chat box to see them.

  • On a phone: Scroll to the bottom of the screen to find the back and forward buttons. On some steps, a back arrow also appears near the top of the page.

Going back to fix information

Use the in-app back arrow any time you need to correct something, such as the number of co-applicants or dependents, or information you already entered (like your Social Security Number in the credit section).

You can also go to your dashboard, select the section you want to edit, and use the arrows to get to the exact part you want to update.

Information that isn't yours is showing

If your application shows co-applicants or income sources that don't belong to you:

  1. Log out of your account.

  2. Clear your browser cache.

  3. Log back in.

If the issue continues, send a screenshot to Findigs Support. To remove an income source you added by mistake, use the back arrow to return to that section and remove it.

Before you submit: finish every section

Make sure every section that still shows as incomplete is finished, including:

  • Household details

  • Housing history

  • Income information and verification

  • Identity/credit information

After you submit

Once your application is submitted, you can't edit it directly. Communicate any changes or questions to the underwriting team through the underwriter chat on your dashboard. The review team isn't available by phone. Here's a step-by-step guide: How to access chat on your dashboard.

If you entered your Social Security Number incorrectly, a new application must be submitted, because Findigs can't update SSNs on existing applications.

General tips

  • If the application won't let you continue, refresh the page or try a different browser.

  • Keep a stable internet connection while you work so your progress saves.

  • If you're still stuck, contact Findigs Support with a description of the problem and, if possible, a screenshot of the page where you're stuck.
