Can't Log In or Reset Password

Can't Log In or Reset Password
If you're having trouble logging in to Findigs or aren't getting a password reset email, these steps fix the most common challenges.
Step 1: Check your email address
A common cause of login trouble is a typo in the email address. Make sure you're using the exact email address from when your application was created. A different email won't give you access to your application. If you're not sure which email is on file, contact Findigs Support at support@findigs.com.
Step 2: Reset your password
Go to rent.findigs.com/forgot and enter the email address on your application. Then:
Check your inbox, spam, and junk folders for the reset email. It can take 1–2 minutes to arrive.
Use the newest reset or invite link. Older links may no longer work.
Step 3: Clear browser issues
Log out of Findigs and close all Findigs tabs.
Clear your browser's cache and cookies.
Open an incognito/private window in Chrome (or Firefox, Edge, Safari, or Opera).
Log in directly at rent.findigs.com/login instead of using an invite or task link. You can also try app.findigs.com/applications.
If possible, try a different device (for example, a computer instead of a phone), and make sure you're only logged in on one device at a time.
"Account blocked" after too many attempts
This is a temporary, automatic security measure.
Wait 15–30 minutes without trying to log in.
Open a new incognito window so old saved passwords don't autofill.
Go to rent.findigs.com/forgot and enter your account email to get a reset link.
Log in with your new password at rent.findigs.com/login.
"Account already exists" or "phone number already in use"
If you get one of these errors when creating an account, you already have a Findigs account with that email or phone number. Reset your password at rent.findigs.com/forgot instead of creating a new account, then log in to see any pending application invites.
I'm locked out of my email account
If you can't access your email, you can still reset your Findigs password at rent.findigs.com/forgot to get back into your application.
The application belongs to someone else's account
An application can only be opened and completed by the person who created it. If someone else (such as a family member) tries to open it from their own Findigs account, they won't be able to. The person named on the application needs to log in with their own credentials, and the application will appear on their dashboard.
A link in a Findigs email gives a 404 error
If a button in a Findigs email (such as "review and complete") shows a 404 error:
Log out of your Findigs account.
Clear your browser's cache and cookies.
Log back in and try again.
If it still doesn't work, skip the email link. Log in at rent.findigs.com/login and open your tasks and chat from your renter dashboard under Quick Actions.
My verification code goes to an old phone number
Findigs sends a verification code by text when you log in. If your account has a phone number you no longer use, Findigs Support can update it for you. Phone numbers can't be changed from within the app.
Email support@findigs.com with:
The old phone number on your account (if you remember it)
Your new phone number that can receive texts
The email address on your Findigs account
Once your number is updated, log out completely, close your browser, then log back in at rent.findigs.com and request a new code.
Note: Only the account owner can request a phone number change, and each co-applicant must request their own.
