I can’t use my phone number to create a Findigs account.
Last updated: September 11, 2026
Overview
To keep accounts secure, Findigs uses text message (SMS) verification during account creation. You’ll need a unique mobile phone number that can receive text messages.
Why this might be happening
You may not be able to use your phone number if:
Your phone number is already connected to another Findigs account (for example, a co-applicant shared the same number).
You’re using a VoIP number (like Google Voice, Skype, or Vonage) that can’t reliably receive verification text messages.
You can’t receive the verification text message right now (for example, poor signal, a temporary carrier issue, or an international number that can’t receive U.S. SMS).
What to try
Double-check that your phone number is entered correctly (including country code, if applicable).
Make sure you can receive text messages on that phone.
If you’re using a VoIP number, try a mobile number from a cellular provider instead.
If you share a phone number with someone else, each person will need their own phone number to create a separate account.
